How Does Surge Protection Work?

Power surges are unpredictable and may have several causes such as abrupt voltage changes on a circuit, faulty appliances, storms, or provide faults in the electricity supplier. This excess current is then securely redirected through the excess earth wire, directly into the ground. This averts more current than ordinary from flowing to your appliances efficiently ensuring they are protected from any harm which could result from power surges.
